Dale Chihuly at Kew Gardens
Monday 10 June 2019

Come and join us for a guided one-hour walk around Kew Gardens.  Our guide will focus on different plants from Kew’s living collection, the largest and most diverse in the world growing out in the landscape and within their glasshouses.  There will also be the opportunity of seeing Dale Chihuly’s unique and dazzling art installations situated across the grounds, including the Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art.   There we can experience for ourselves Chihuly’s drawings and Rotolo series. For those of you who were at our December 2018 lecture by Scott Anderson on Chihuly this visit will remind us of his fascinating talk.

Walking will be involved requiring a moderate standard of fitness.  Also please wear strong shoes and all weather clothing!!
