Visit to Hindu Temple Neasden
Wednesday 04 March 2020

Come and join us at the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, popularly known as the Neasden Temple, at 105 - 119 Brentfield Road, NW10 8LD. The Temple is a traditional place of Hindu worship designed and constructed entirely according to ancient Vedic architectural texts – using no structural steel whatsoever. It is a masterpiece of exquisite Indian design and workmanship in the heart of London.

We will start our visit with a short film about the construction of the Temple and then we attend a short prayer service and see the inside of the prayer hall. There will then be an opportunity to ask questions and we end our visit with a fascinating exhibition about the history of the Hindu religion and learn some surprising facts! The visit will take about two hours. Afterwards we can have lunch at Shayana, an Indian vegetarian restaurant on the same site where you will be offered a buffet at £14 per head, excluding drinks. We meet at 10:45am in the car park opposite the Temple. There is ample free parking in the car park and buses 206 & 244 pass near the Temple.
